ROUTE Machame 8 Days Program

Machame is one of the most popular routes on Kili, but for sure it is not the simplest one. Alaitol recommends this route for the climbers with previous mountaineering experience and physically fit. Furthermore, if your travel is scheduled for a rainy season, torrential rains may wash out the treks and your climbing will be more challenging.

 Relative affordability. Machame is the only route on the mountain Kilimanjaro with a high percent of climbing success for a modest price.

 The route starts at 900 m above the sea level and traverses all the climatic zones – from the tropical forests to the ice glaciers of the Kibo volcano.
